As a lifelong Capital Region sports fan who has just so happened to be in radio for most of my professional life the chance to “join the Team” pun intended was the kind of offer I’ve been dreaming of. Growing up a Yankees, Knicks and Raiders fan(a punishment I share with my beautiful daughter Ella) I’ve felt the pain and success that comes with diehard fandom. Luckily for me my friends that love the Giants have adopted me so I have a reason to watch football after the Raiders have been eliminated EARLY every season for the last 10 plus years. I’m excited to talk sports and enjoy multiple happy hours with all the sports fans of the Cap Region…even the Red Sox fans.

Unless The Yankees Fix One Key Stat This Season Is In Real Trouble
The New York Yankees are one of the most talented teams in all of baseball. There's an argument to be made that the majority of the roster should be All-Stars and a handful of Yankees have MVP caliber talent BUT they don't look that way at the plate. It's early and there's plenty of baseball left to get things right but when you look at the last five or six years of Yankees teams there's a glaring reason they can't beat good teams in the postseason. The Yankees can not hit with Runners In Scoring Position!
Jets Officially End The Adam Gase Era
The less than shocking news that Adam Gase is no longer the head coach of the New York Jets comes as a relief to many fans of Gang Green. Just hours after the end of yet another disappointing season for the Jets Chairman and CEO of the Jets Christopher Johnson made the news official on the team's Twitter account.
Prop Bets To Prepare You For The 2020 NFL Season
In the now-famous words of Michael Jordan, I have a "Competition Problem". So the fact that the NFL kicks off this Thursday has me chomping at the bit to make some wagers. Not sure when Rivers Casino and Sportsbook will be open but for fun here's a whole bunch of Prop bets to give an idea of what the oddsmakers think your favorite teams and players might do this season.
Is This Red Sox Pitcher’s Wife The Best Sports Wife Ever?
The Boston Red Sox have already waived the white flag on the 2020 but don't tell that to Sox pitcher Robert Stock's wife Sara. Mrs. Stock not only hilariously shut down a Twitter troll going after her man BUT she also let him know he better pitch better.
A-Rod And J-Lo Add Some More Star Power To Group Bidding On The Mets
We've been "patiently" waiting for someone... anyone not named Wilpon to own the New York Mets. There have been deals that looked like they were done that fell through and scandals but no sale. Recent news says the Wilpons want to have a sale complete by October to give the league time to bless the deal before the start of 2021. One of the most intriguing bidders are former New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez and his superstar girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. The New York Post is reporting that A-Rod and J-Lo group is adding some big names to help sweeten the offer to own the Mets.
Which NY MLB Players Are Expected To Dominate This Short Season?
As we prepare for a 60 game regular season it's kinda tough to decide what numbers we're going to see from our favorite stars. Here's a list of prop bets with what BetOnline.AG thinks we can expect form the players on The New York Yankees and New York Mets.

Joey Chestnut Is Ready To Eat This 4th Of July! [AUDIO]
There are far more cancellations in the world of sports and entertainment than events still happening right now. As a matter of fact all the 4th of July fireworks displays have been shutdown BUT one of the traditions many of us have come to love is still happening. The annual 4th of July Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest will HAPPEN. Meaning Joey Chestnut will get a chance to do what he does best, eat more hot dogs in 10 minutes than any other man or woman alive!
Will There Be Baseball This Year?
I have held out hope all along that the Major League Baseball season will in fact take place. I think the idea of a 4th of July without baseball is something no one wants. The players and the league both know that no baseball on America's birthday is a lose-lose situation. Could the latest proposal from the MLB owners be the one that sticks?
NFL Still Planning Full Season
According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen the NFL plans to release the 2020 regular season schedule on May 9th as planned. The league is reportedly still planning on a full season and will only make adjustments as needed.
