The 45th running of the Utica Boilermaker is in the books.

We were hanging out at the start line pumping up the crowd and getting all the runners excited. We snapped some great photos in the process! Do you recognize anyone in these photos?

Many people will be back in Utica this weekend for the first time in a while for the city's 45th running of the Boilermaker Road Race, and some new changes downtown will open some eyes, and probably get some people driving the wrong way.

This year’s Boilermaker marks the return of elite, professional runners for the first time in three years.

It's 2022 Boilermaker Weekend!

A New Hartford High School student has won the right to sing the National Anthem at this Sunday's Boilermaker Post Race Party. 15-year-old Brooke Scarchilli, a freshman at NHCS, was one of nine finalists in WIBX's Boilermaker National Anthem Contest.

This is Boilermaker week in the Utica area and there will be several events leading up to this weekend's big event. Tuesday is also the last chance to submit your vote in the Post Race Party Anthem Singer Contest as voting ends on June 5th at 11:59 p.m. (tonight).

Boilermaker officials announced today that COVID restrictions are being lifted for participation in the 15K, 5K and wheelchair races.
