UPDATE: Police Thanking Public for Identifying Suspect in Alleged Theft
UPDATE: 03/01/2022 2345 After receiving numerous tips the New York State Police says that the suspect has been identified.
Authorities are thanking members of the public for assistance making the identification.
Police have not yet publicly released the identity of the suspect. No additional information is available at this time.
Police Asking for Help from the Public Identifying Theft Suspect
New York State Police are asking for your help finding a man who allegedly filled up a cart at a store and then left without paying for the items.
Troopers say the man is accused of filling up a cart full of items from Walmart in Oneonta then leaving without paying for any of the items. This incident took place on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at approximately 8:40am.
The Walmart in Oneonta, New York is located at 5054 NY-23.
The suspect was seen driving the pickup truck pictured in the following photos:
Police are asking anyone with information to call the New York State Police at: (607) 561.7400. The case number is: 10712197.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
