Ten Pets That Are Illegal to Own in New York

I'm an animal lover. We currently have four dogs and a large community of feral cats that we "care for" in the woods behind our house. In my life, I've only had one exotic pet...a little lizard named Dorothy that I picked up in Kansas...get it, Dorothy, from Kansas...like the Wizard of Oz?
