Central New York is sizzling with excitement as three local favorites have been named among the Top 10 finalists in the annual Best NY Burger Competition, hosted by the New York Beef Council.

Last year Chatham Brewery unseated the three year champ Syracuse Ale `n Angus Pub for the honor of having the Best Burger in New York State.

This year the Matteson Hotel in Ilion, Rooster’s in Utica, and Wendy’s Diner in Cassville have each earned a spot among the top ten contenders for the coveted title.
