AAA Launches Major Effort to Help Fight Hunger Across New York and Beyond
Many families need extra help putting food on the table during the summer.
That's why AAA Northeast is starting a food drive called Fuel Hope, Fight Hunger. The goal is to help provide 5 million meals to people across the country.
Summer can be a hard time for families. During the school year, many children get breakfast and lunch at school. When school ends, parents often have to buy more food at home.
How You Can Help
During June, people can drop off food donations at AAA offices across New York and the Northeast.
In our area, donations can be dropped off at:
AAA Utica
430 Court Street
Utica, NY 13502
AAA Oneonta
762 State Highway 28, Suite 1
Oneonta, NY 13820
AAA workers and volunteers will also help by collecting food, stocking pantry shelves, and preparing meals for people in need.
Hunger Is a Problem in Every Community
According to Feeding America, 47 million people in the United States did not always have enough food in 2024.

Help Is Available
If you need food assistance, Feeding America can connect you with food resources in their area.
AAA Northeast serves more than 6.9 million members, including many in New York. The organization hopes this food drive will help families and bring communities together to support their neighbors.
