Galaxy Communications General Contest Rules

1.) All winners must be at least 18 years old unless otherwise specified in the specific contest rules. If a promotional partner is involved, winner must adhere to any rules and regulations and/or policies set forth by said promotional partner in addition to these Galaxy Communications General Rules.

2.) All prizes must be claimed within 30 days at Galaxy Communications main business office, 235 Walton Street, Syracuse, NY, Mondays through Fridays only between 9am and 5pm, excluding holidays unless the prize includes travel in which case, rule #9 applies. Galaxy Communications assumes no risk for lost or misguided mail in relation to any contest.

3.) Winners are restricted to winning one prize per 30 days.

4.) Galaxy Communications is not responsible for cancellations or rescheduling of concerts, club dates, or sporting events and will not provide replacement tickets. Backstage passes are not a guarantee of access to the artist(s).

5.) Galaxy Communications reserves the right to substitute prizes unannounced. Prizes cannot be exchanged.Galaxy Communications reserves the right to make final judgment in any and all contest outcomes.

6.) Winner is responsible for providing a Photo ID upon claiming prize. Winner must sign a Prize Winner Sheet when claiming any prize. Winners must complete and sign a Prize Value Form Winner is responsible for any taxes that may incur as a result of claiming prize.

7.) If prizes are claimed at any location other than Galaxy Communications main business offices, it is the winner’s responsibility to adhere to that location’s rules, regulations, or limitations.

8.) If a listener wins an on-air or website contest or registers at a location for a Galaxy Communications contest and does not meet one or more of the above criteria, prizes will be forfeited.

9.) If travel is involved as the prize or part of the prize package, winner must provide full address, phone number and social security number of self, and guest if applicable, before trip arrangements can be initiated. Once guest name is submitted it cannot be changed. Winner will be notified of departure and arrival times and destinations and hotel confirmation numbers as soon as available but actual tickets and or travel package may not be available until the day before the trip begins.

10.) Galaxy Communications reserves the right to re-broadcast and use for promotional purposes all or part of actual telephone conversations related to contests without the contestant’s permission or compensation. Calling any of Galaxy Communications studios for any reason is acknowledging and agreeing that any or all parts of the telephone conversation may be broadcast and re-broadcast.

11.) Galaxy Communications assumes no liability for personal injuries, accidents, or loss of work that may be a result of accepting a prize. Galaxy Communications assumes no liability for Acts of God, Acts of War, Acts of Terrorism, schedule changes or abuse or misuse of a prize.

12.) Galaxy Communications, promotional partner and co-sponsor employees and immediate family members are not eligible to win any Galaxy Communications contest. Employees of any other New York State radio station, group, company or corporation are not eligible to enter to or win any Galaxy Communications contest.
