Inmate John B. Clark is back in jail after allegedly escaping from corrections officers who were bringing him to a court appearance in Otsego County on December 9, 2021.

Police say Joseph R. Head of Oneonta, NY was arrested after he allegedly sold methamphetamine to inmates while serving time at the Otsego County Correctional.

The Otsego County Sheriff's Office, New York State Police, and the Fly Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to a hit and run incident where a driver was hit by another vehicle and landed in a swampy area, half-submerged in water.

The Cooperstown and Hartwick Seminary Fire Departments responded to the scene with assistance from the Cooperstown Police Department and the New York State Police.

A Kansas man is under arrest and facing several charges, including Attempted Murder in the 2nd degree following a hit and run accident in the Town of Hartwick.

One Cooperstown hospital employee has been charged and more arrests are possible in connection with the theft of medical supplies during the coronavirus pandemic.
