Two new fishing records have been set in New York this May, marking an exciting month for anglers statewide. Dylan Kampnich landed a massive 37-pound channel catfish in Black River Bay, breaking a three-year-old record by almost two pounds. Just 10 days later, Alex Pidhorodeckyj caught a record-breaking fallfish from the St. Lawrence River, surpassing a 16-year-old record by nearly half a pound.
