Police Request Help from Public Finding Missing Man

Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing man.

New York State Police say that 20-year-old Joseph D. Cione of the Erie County town of Boston, New York was reported missing on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Police say that he went for a run on Boston State Road at approximately 9:00am on Sunday and did not return home.

Rochester Woman Arrested for Drug Possession

A Rochester woman was arrested – and released – after police say she was in possession of contraband at a prison.

The New York State Police say that they were contacted by the Office of Special Investigation (OSI) New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (NYSDOCCS) from Attica on Monday, July 11, 2022 that a woman there had been found with “contraband on her person.”

The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Desiree S. Oneal from Rochester, New York, was issued an appearance ticket.  She is scheduled to answer the charge in court on July 18, 2022.
