"The History of the Erie Canal" will be presented by Patrick Reynolds at the Clinton Historical Society 1 Fountain Street, Clinton, NY, on Sunday, October 14, at 2 p.m.
The program is free and open to the public.

The Erie Canal celebrates its bicentennial between 2017 and 2025 and the Society is fortunate to have local expert, Patrick Reynolds, a Rome native and the Rome Historical Society Educator, speak on the Canal's history. Mr. Reynolds was on the committee for the Erie Canal Bicentennial Conference held in Utica in May, 2017 and has a lifetime of interest and research in local and canal history.
