CNY First Responder Protects Colleagues and Others From COVID-19

We salute Jennifer Munn. Jennifer is an AEMT-Paramedic at the Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps (COCVAC). When New York State's Bureau of EMS mandated an ambulance from COCVAC be sent to assist with their Corona Virus Test Site at the Jones Beach Nature Center in Long Island, she volunteered to go. Jennifer not only wanted to help people in Long Island, but she also wanted to reduce the risk and burden on her colleagues many of whom have families.

Her brother Andrew shared these thoughts, "Jennifer left Monday afternoon and will return early Saturday morning. She is the token example of a first responder running toward the dangers of the Corona Virus to help in any way possible, while most of us are safe in our homes with our loved ones. I'm nominating my sister to say thank you and I love you."
