A ton of Blue Moon approved shows rolling through this summer. The Counting Crows with The Wallflowers on July 2nd at Turning Stone is on my list. Love Adam Duritz! Further will be at both SPAC and Doubleday Field in Cooperstown. The Eagles landed on my radar after seeing the “History of the Eagles” documentary a few weeks ago. I bought tickets to the Bethel Woods show on July 25th and while trying to carve out a mini-vacation around the show I realized The Avett Brothers and Grace Potter will be a C-MAC July 26th! I’ll be taking to the highway! So many shows to look forward to and just announced, Farm Aid 2013 will be at SPAC on September 21st.
I miss baseball. Little League baseball. I miss the game, the valiant efforts of the youngest and the amazing skills of the oldest players. I miss the camaraderie of the parents and the gentle routine of Tuesday night games. I even miss the popcorn from the snack stand. My boys are grown and have been out of Little League uniforms for 12 years. I miss it.
